ADDITIONAL NOTES: again, no permanent major character death! temporary is fine. quick note that I'm fine with underage sex (where both parties are underage) being alluded to, but please don't have it explicitly on the page.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: I'm up to date on spoilers! I also ship Molly/Caleb and would like to see at least a nod to it, but that's optional.

In general: I like both gen and ship fic in about equal measure, and will read pretty much any rating. I like reading about found families and their dynamics, whether they're an adventuring group that's been together for a while now or a bunch of asshole superheroes that are trying to make things work. I like hurt/comfort, I even like breaking a character (Winter Soldier AUs are my brand at this point) for lots of angst, but my one solid caveat is that there has to be a happy ending. It doesn't need to be completely happy, but I just want everyone to be alive. I love everybody lives AUs bc I'm a wimp who can't stand major character death. I love AUs in general. pls feed them to me.
Do Not Want: gore way above canon-typical violence, bathroom kinks, parent kink, A/B/O and BDSM AUs, bestiality, incest when it would seem OOC for the characters, underage sex where one character is underage and the other is not, graphically depicted noncon, permanent major character death, tentacles, mpreg, knotting

role reversal AU! maybe Eddie's the comedian and Richie's the insurance guy. or Eddie's single and Richie's married. or Eddie's in Chicago and Richie's in New York. or, saddest role reversal of all: Eddie survives but Richie dies instead. AU where Richie and Eddie get into a relationship in their teenage years and leave town together. by the time they come back to Derry, they're happily married. what happens in between? what happens in Derry when they come back? same AU as last point, but instead of being happily married they're going through a bitter divorce. what are the issues that split them up? what's their dynamic like when they come back to Derry? how do they reconcile? pick a random romantic comedy. now use it for Richie and Eddie, but set it before Derry 2.0. what happens when halfway through, Mike calls? Eddie trying to untangle the Gordian knot of his trauma and his hang-ups about health and wellness and disease. how does he handle cooking for himself for the first time in years if not ever? does he find himself obsessively checking calorie counts and ingredient lists? is he even allergic to anything, and if not what is he going to do with that information? Richie's a closeted gay comedian who started out in a career that is historically not always the most accepting of queer people. what did he have to do to get career success? what does he feel when the tides shift and more out queer people start getting into comedy? what kind of advice does he find himself giving to aspiring comedians backstage? when he comes out, how does the public react? in-universe media fic about Richie coming out of the closet and speculations about his dating life. bonus points if he keeps getting linked romantically to literally every other Loser except, you know, the one he's dating. Eddie tries to find himself a new job after moving to live with Richie! unfortunately the job he finds? is in a haunted office building/sleepaway camp/house/whatever. what does he do when the horror starts? does he surprise his new coworkers with how experienced he actually seems to be at horror movie bullshit? body swap where Eddie is dead and Richie tries to bring him back. unfortunately he screws up somewhere in the ritual and Eddie finds himself in Richie's body while Richie ends up floating around as a ghost outside of it. what happens next?
Critical Role (Web Series)
ADDITIONAL NOTES: I'm up to date on spoilers! I also ship Molly/Caleb and would like to see at least a nod to it, but that's optional.
Beauregard Lionett/Yasha Nydoorin
fake marriage where Yasha and Beau, for whatever reason, find themselves the only couple in the Mighty Nein who qualify for infiltrating a secret cult. how do they handle this? Yasha and Beau make use of the mirror fastened to Beau's bedroom ceiling. RESURRECTION RITUAL. Beau goes down and they have to perform a resurrection ritual in order to bring her back. how does Yasha react? what does she offer? does anything go wrong in the ritual and how do they fix it? what about afterwards, how will Beau handle the knowledge of her own mortality? what about Yasha, how is she going to handle almost losing her second love?
Yasha Nydoorin & Mollymauk Tealeaf
what adventures did Yasha & Molly get up to in the circus? did Yasha ever have to help Molly get out of a sticky situation? did Molly ever have to help Yasha out of trouble? how did they become so close as friends? AU where Molly gets kidnapped instead of Yasha. what happens next? what does Yasha do to get her friends, especially her best friend, back? how much carnage does she rain down on the Iron Shepherds? how does being kidnapped change Molly? how does Molly react to Yasha's new abilities? especially Rage Beyond Death, how is he going to handle that?
Mollymauk Tealeaf
AU where during the fight in Eiselcross, someone gets off a Greater Restoration on Lucien and brings Molly back. now the Mighty Nein have one very confused and freaked-out tiefling and they still have to dodge the Tomb Takers. how does Molly react to finding out what his friends and also his body have been up to while he was out? what if, instead of getting picked up again by the Tomb Takers, Molly got picked up by the Darrington Brigade? AU where Lucien's control over the body isn't completely perfect, and the reason why he doesn't sleep is because the moment he goes unconscious, Molly takes over. the M9 find this out. what happens next? something involving this line, in the aftermath of a hypothetical scenario where Molly does come back: it's time for me to face the past...no matter what.
Jane the Virgin (TV)
Rafael Solano/Jane Villanueva/Michael Cordero Jr.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: no Rose/Luisa or character bashing!
how would you have written the Michael with amnesia plotline? Winter Soldier-style AU? fake amnesia? real amnesia but somewhere other than Bumfuck Country Town? slow and steady reclamation of identity? anything goes! role reversal AU: instead of Michael running into Rose that day, it was Jane. Michael has to deal with the seeming loss of his wife and having to help raise Mateo with Rafael, as well as perhaps finishing her novel, if she was working on one when she “died”. unexpectedly, though, he and Rafael fall in love as well, and start dating. then Rose tells Rafael that Jane’s alive... growing pains of a polyamorous relationship when there’s a kid in the mix, go! would especially love to see it from Mateo’s perspective, the kid’s got some opinions. instead of a soap opera, Jane the Virgin as a SPACE opera.
The Defenders (Marvel TV)
All Characters
ADDITIONAL NOTES: this is optional, but I ship Matt/Foggy pretty hard, so at least a nod to that would be fun! otherwise I'm here for the team dynamics babyyyyy.
Die Hard but with the Defenders as John McClane. would love it if they start out split up and unaware of each other's involvement and only all meet up partway through. one of the Defenders survives the Blip and has to learn to cope in a new world. five years later, the rest come back. what happens next? Jessica Jones finds herself having to rescue Matt, Luke, and Danny from a brainwash-heavy/mind-control villain. how does she handle it? who does she team up with in the meantime to save them? what does she feel about having to potentially fight the people she cares about and break them out of their brainwashing? talk to me about New York and how each of the Defenders relate to the city they live in. what's Luke's favorite bodega in Harlem? where's Matt's favorite place in Hell's Kitchen to perch? does Danny find himself coming back to a place over and over because of their Reuben sandwiches? Jessica's a photographer, has she sometimes taken pictures of New York walking by just because it looked nice at that moment in time? free crossover prompt, but: with the amount of shows based in New York, one is bound to crash into the Defenders one of these days. pick your favorite NY-based show and write a story guest-starring the Defenders. for example: Jessica Jones having to sit in an interrogation room while Jake Peralta plays a guitar badly at her, or Elementary's Sherlock and Joan chasing down a lead all the way to Harlem where Luke is looking into the same case as they are, or Harvey Specter and Matt Murdock face off in court, or Danny Rand drops in on the Russo sandwich shop in Greenwich Village. let your imagination run wiiiiild.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes
ADDITIONAL NOTES: pls disregard the Endgame canon ending for Steve.
Steve and Bucky get caught up in Wanda's Westview Hex. what happens to them while they're inside? do they manage to break through to her? and also: why does everyone seem so sure they're married? Steve and Bucky try to go on a real, proper date. it gets interrupted by something superhero-related every time. how do they finally have that date? role reversal AU: Bucky survives the Snap. Steve doesn't. what does Bucky do in the five years afterward, how does he cope? how does he handle the time travel?
Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes
urban fantasy AU where Sam has actual wings and Bucky is a private detective with a dark past. Sam finds himself caught up in a magic conspiracy on his first day on the job that a now-retired Steve has left him, and has to recruit a reluctant Bucky to help. what happens next? role reversal AU: Sam as a man out of time, Bucky as a modern-day soldier who came home down one arm. how does this change their dynamic? how does Sam adjust to all the progress that's been made since his time, and what about the things, good and bad, that haven't changed? how do he and Bucky meet in the first place? FAKE DATING!! something horror-based where Sam and Bucky find themselves caught up in some Stephen King-level bullshit while looking into something together.
Stranger Things (TV 2016)
Nancy Wheeler/Steve Harrington/Jonathan Byers
Steve gets hit on the head a lot. tell me about one night when Jonathan and Nancy looked after him after a pretty bad hit. Jonathan goes to NYU like he always wanted! and then he finds himself caught up in yet another conspiracy, as in Hawkins, or even a real haunted house, and calls Nancy and Steve to come help him out. now that the three of them are in the big city together, what do they do about this weird tension simmering between all three of them?
Robin Buckley & Steve Harrington
Steve and Robin pretend to be in a relationship in order to cover for each other's non-traditional romances: Steve picks Robin up in order to take her to her girlfriend's place, Robin pretends Steve is sleeping in her bed when really he's snuck off to sleep with Nancy and Jonathan in theirs. who's fooled and who's not? how long can they keep this up? Robin and Steve working together on yet another Hawkins mystery! how does Robin adjust to being the new one to the Weird Shit going down in Hawkins? how does Steve help her with that adjustment? what's the mystery they're trying to solve and how do they solve it?
DC Extended Universe
Diana (Wonder Woman)/Steve Trevor
Diana (Wonder Woman) & Lois Lane
