dear chocolatier

In general: I like both gen and ship fic in about equal measure, and will read pretty much any rating. I like reading about found families and their dynamics, whether they're an adventuring group that's been together for a while now or a bunch of asshole superheroes that are trying to make things work. I like hurt/comfort, I even like breaking a character (Winter Soldier AUs are my brand at this point) for lots of angst, but my one solid caveat is that there has to be a happy ending. It doesn't need to be completely happy, but I just want everyone to be alive. I love everybody lives AUs bc I'm a wimp who can't stand major character death. I love AUs in general. pls feed them to me.

Smut-wise: the prompts should work just fine with or without smut! I am here for the Dynamic. that having been said, I certainly wouldn't mind it. I am v into ropes and bondage and a small hint of D/s. other than that, anything goes as long as all parties consent to it.

Do Not Want: gore way above canon-typical violence, bathroom kinks, parent kink (NO daddy kink), A/B/O and BDSM AUs, bestiality, incest when it would seem OOC for the characters, underage sex where one character is underage and the other is not, graphically depicted noncon, permanent major character death, tentacles, mpreg, knotting, graphic eye trauma

RESIDENT EVIL
Ada/Claire
  • a roleswap AU for Claire and Leon where Claire meets Ada instead! what's the cover story Ada gives her? does Claire get taken in or does she suspect what Ada's up to? what does their falling in love look like? I always like to think Ada would be slightly more forthright with Claire, because Claire isn't one to immediately buy what Ada would be selling her, so she has to throw her a couple more bones than she does with Leon. does Ada even go with the FBI agent backstory when she saves Claire or does she come up with something closer to the original's "looking for my boyfriend" cover story? and how would this affect their relationship post-Raccoon City? is Claire the government agent instead of Leon?

  • Ada and Claire run into each other during an outreach TerraSave is conducting in Penamstan or Lanshiang or Edonia or Insert Made-Up Country Here. Claire decides to conduct an investigation into whatever's going on in the country, since if Ada is here then that must mean trouble's not far behind. somehow, this leads to the two of them trapped in the same underground lab together, and now they need to work together to get out. how do they accomplish this?

  • Claire goes on a blind date. turns out it's with Ada, and it turns out they have such a good time that Claire just...keeps coming back, and they end up in a weird grey area where they're sort of dating and sort of not dating. in the meantime, the events of the Resident Evil games just keep happening. how do they manage to keep their relationship secret from everyone who knows them? do they even try? and do they ever manage to get out of that grey area?

  • Ada/Leon
  • Tam Lin AU - Leon as Tam Lin, trapped in a court that will sacrifice him to hell because he was willing to sell his freedom to save a child under his protection, and Ada as Janet in a cloak of red come to save him (and also fulfill a couple other ulterior motives along the way). or: Ada as Tam Lin, trying to outsmart the court that's trapped her into working for them by enlisting someone she first underestimates into her plan, and Leon as Janet, who comes to save her because he can't turn his back on someone who needs him.

  • role reversal AU - Leon as the mercenary, Ada as the rookie cop turned government agent. how do things change? what stays the same? what drew Leon into this life and how has it changed him, and what draws him to Ada now? what drew Ada into working for the government? I will not lie, I would totally love to see what happens to their dynamic if you flip their roles like this—Leon in canon seems to just kind of shrug and accept that Ada's just gonna do what Ada wants to do by the time RE6 happens, but I can't see Ada in his role doing the same thing even by the time of RE6.

  • speaking of Resident Evil 6: AU where Leon takes Helena's advice and goes after Ada after all. what happens after that?

  • Chris/Leon
  • Winter Soldier AU - Leon successfully gets Ashley off the island, but he doesn't manage to get away himself before the cult captures him. years later, perhaps by the time of RE6 or so, there's a mysterious assassin with a reputation for brutal and efficient killings in play working for either the Family or Neo-Umbrella. Chris meets him in Edonia seemingly working for Wal-Mart Ada, and is struck by how familiar he seems. six months later, he runs into the guy again in an underground facility in Lanshiang, and in a brutal fight, unmasks him and is shocked to see: it's Leon, who doesn't remember him or Claire or anything else. what happens next?

  • AU where Leon gets into the RPD sooner, before the Spencer Mansion Incident. he and Chris hit it off right away - so well, in fact, that they start developing feelings for each other. when he hears that something's gone terribly wrong for the STARS team, Leon decides to go get them out. what happens next?

  • Chris and Leon get into a relationship and it's going strong when Leon gets a hard hit to the head, and when he next wakes up he thinks it's 1998 and he's late for his first day of work on the job. how does he react to finding out that it's been over twenty years since 1998 and his life is completely different from how he thought it might be? how does Chris react to this younger, more idealistic Leon? what happens to their relationship? how does Leon develop as a person once those twenty years have been wiped away, and how different is that from pre-amnesia? does he ever get those memories back?

  • CRITICAL ROLE
    Caleb/Molly
  • class swap AU where Molly is the wizard and Caleb is the blood hunter! how does that change things for them? what are their backstories like in this 'verse? how do they connect with each other? I would love to see how Molly would fare with magic, and meanwhile magic is such an ingrained part of Caleb in canon that I'm curious to see what he's like without any. is he still the cause of his parents' deaths? was Lucien some kind of blood mage, and Molly's stuck with that and making the most of it?

  • Molly as a private investigator, Caleb as the mysterious client with a dark past who swoops in with a dangerous yet irresistible case. alternately, Caleb as a worn-down private eye and Molly as the mysterious client, or criminal contact. give me something comparable to either Jessica Jones or the Maltese Falcon!

  • fusion AU with any romantic comedy you can think of! the catch is that their backstories have to be as intact as possible - changes to account for changed setting would be fun, but I want to see the main beats preserved. I would love to see how absolutely messy a rom-com plotline like in You've Got Mail would get if Caleb still started the fire that killed his parents and Molly's still an amnesiac whose past is going to come and bite him directly on the ass. I think it would be so fucking funny.

  • Percy/Vex
  • more than any other pairing, Percy and Vex give me the vibes of a classic fairytale couple. so give me a Percy/Vex fusion of Tam Lin, an old favorite of mine. maybe Cassandra escaped and Percy didn't, and years later Vex goes hunting in the forests near Whitestone and meets a very handsome fellow and they end up kissing a lot and stealing moments in the forest, but then the Whitestone Arc happens and hey! it turns out Vex has been uh screwing the Briarwoods' deeply traumatized enforcer! and then Vex has to save him with the power of love and also probably the Gauntlets of Ogre Power bc good lord her STR stat.

  • Enchanted AU where Vex is the modern-day New York lawyer and Percy is the lost noble from a different world. Percy in the Giselle role makes me laugh bc I think he'd actually be very fun in it - I imagine he'd be very interested in seeing how modern-day tech works, and you could milk a lot of comedy out of Vex having to deal with a guy who will not stop taking shit apart just to see how it ticks. meanwhile the Briarwoods are trying to find and murder this lost heir to Whitestone whoops.

  • I am always soft for slow-dancing. pls give me something where Percy and Vex slow-dance.

  • Kingsley & Lucien & Molly
  • I'm ngl I just want a Threeleafs AU. sibling brawls and bickering are my favorite thing.

  • superhero AU where they used to be all one person in three bodies a la Triplicate Girl. however, something happened, one of them was seemingly killed and they all went their separate ways, adopting different identities. a few years later, Kingsley sees a surprisingly not-dead Molly working with a new group of vigilantes, and in the meantime Lucien is planning something big that's going to put the world at terrible risk, if he's not stopped and talked down in time. since Cree, the only other person who has a chance of stopping him, is at his side and helping him do this, that leaves King and Molly to save the world by hopefully reconciling with Lucien. no pressure, or anything.

  • someone accidentally pulls some dunamancy shit, and now Kingsley has to deal with Molly and Lucien on his ship. except - Molly's a wizard from the circus? and Lucien's running his own criminal empire in the Gentleman's place? what the fuck is going on. meanwhile, Molly and Lucien are more than a little freaked out to be in a timeline that is significantly different from their own. what happens next?

  • IT
    Audra/Bill/Mike
  • post-movie development of triad relationship would be grand, thank you kindly. I don't think I've seen any that dove into how to make this relationship really work and how they all fell into each other's orbit, and I would love to see it.

  • it turns out Bill and Mike aren't the only ones with experience in the supernatural - Audra's also got some skeletons in her closet that soon come back to bite her. maybe she was a survivor of the Black Prom, one of the very few Chamberlain teenagers who didn't die on that horrible night. maybe she tumbled through a door from Mid-World and out into a different world and decided she liked it there. maybe she's Charlie McGee under a different name. either way, Audra's past soon comes back to haunt her, and now she, Bill and Mike have to stand tall and stand together if they're to fight back and survive the storm that's coming for her.

  • AU where Bill stays in Derry instead of Mike, so Audra meets Mike Hanlon, travel writer and historian instead. how does that change things for them and the Losers? does Audra still marry Mike? what's the catch on Mike becoming successful? what's Bill like after twenty-seven years staying in Derry the whole time? does Audra stay behind, as in the movies, or does she follow Mike to Derry to see what's going on?

  • Richie/Eddie
  • career swap AU where Eddie's the comedian and Richie's in the financial sector! what's Eddie's style of comedy? is it gross blue humor like canon Richie's or does he go for a different strand, like satirical or dark or insult comedy? if Richie's not a risk analyst, what's he doing in finances and how is he in the corporate world? is he stashing his creativity down very deep or is he the coworker who goofs off regularly but still somehow manages to turn in some really good work? what happens when they run into each other in Derry? do they meet before Derry?

  • Just Like Heaven AU where Richie is Reese Witherspoon and Eddie is Mark Ruffalo. you're free to retain or disregard as much of canon as possible, I just want Richie as a ghost driving Eddie up the wall and the two of them falling in love anyway despite that and wanting, needing to touch.

  • AU where Eddie divorces his wife early and goes into a very different career from what we see in canon. the catch: it's a career working for a business in New York from a completely different canon. maybe he's working as Jessica Jones's accountant in Alias Investigations. maybe he's Nelson, Murdock & Page's new secretary. maybe he takes on Gina's old job as civilian administrator over at the 99th precinct. maybe he works at the same TV station Robin Scherbatsky works at, or is part of the crew of one of Liz Lemon's shows. how does he fare in that new environment? what happens when he meets Richie in that new environment, and how do they fit in (or not) with the rest of the cast? what happens when he gets the call to Derry and just up and fucks off to Maine? does anyone from his workplace follow him to Derry? this is your wildcard crossover prompt - anything goes as long as everyone's alive and the clown's dead by the end of it!

  • CROSSOVER
Lara Croft & Nathan Drake & Indiana Jones (Tomb Raider & Uncharted & Indiana Jones)
  • I'm ngl, I nominated and requested this because I want just one thing and that's all three of these very opposite adventurers tracking down the same artifact with different motives and from different angles. please I just want them to have to work together, I think the clash of personalities would be deeply hilarious.

  • even better: body swap. and not one that can be fixed in a matter of days, either, so give me Lara and Nathan and Indiana having to go to each other's places of work or to some appointments that can't be put off and doing their best impressions of each other.

  • Die Hard but IN A TOMB IN A MYSTICAL ANCIENT CITY.
