In general: I like both gen and ship fic in about equal measure, and will read pretty much any rating. I like reading about found families and their dynamics, whether they're an adventuring group that's been together for a while now or a bunch of asshole superheroes that are trying to make things work. I like hurt/comfort, I even like breaking a character (Winter Soldier AUs are my brand at this point) for lots of angst, but my one solid caveat is that there has to be a happy ending. It doesn't need to be completely happy, but I just want everyone to be alive. I love everybody lives AUs bc I'm a wimp who can't stand major character death. I love AUs in general. pls feed them to me.

Do Not Want: gore way above canon-typical violence, bathroom kinks, parent kink, A/B/O and BDSM AUs, bestiality, incest when it would seem OOC for the characters, underage sex where one character is underage and the other is not, graphically depicted noncon, permanent major character death, tentacles, mpreg, knotting, graphic eye trauma

RESIDENT EVIL
Ada/Claire

a roleswap AU for Claire and Leon where Claire meets Ada instead! what's the cover story Ada gives her? does Claire get taken in or does she suspect what Ada's up to? what does their falling in love look like? I always like to think Ada would be slightly more forthright with Claire, because Claire isn't one to immediately buy what Ada would be selling her, so she has to throw her a couple more bones than she does with Leon. does Ada even go with the FBI agent backstory when she saves Claire or does she come up with something closer to the original's "looking for my boyfriend" cover story? and how would this affect their relationship post-Raccoon City? is Claire the government agent instead of Leon?

Ada and Claire run into each other during an outreach TerraSave is conducting in Penamstan or Lanshiang or Edonia or Insert Made-Up Country Here. Claire decides to conduct an investigation into whatever's going on in the country, since if Ada is here then that must mean trouble's not far behind. somehow, this leads to the two of them trapped in the same underground lab together, and now they need to work together to get out. how do they accomplish this?

the plotline of the RE games, but Ada and Claire are dating the whole time. what changes? what doesn't? I wanna see how Claire handles dating someone like Ada, whose loyalties are almost always uncertain with the sole exception of the people she loves. how far would they go to protect each other? what happens if they're on opposite sides of a conflict? would Claire join RE6's cast?

Ada/Leon

Tam Lin AU - Leon as Tam Lin, trapped in a court that will sacrifice him to hell because he was willing to sell his freedom to save a child under his protection, and Ada as Janet in a cloak of red come to save him (and also fulfill a couple other ulterior motives along the way). or: Ada as Tam Lin, trying to outsmart the court that's trapped her into working for them by enlisting someone she first underestimates into her plan, and Leon as Janet, who comes to save her because he can't turn his back on someone who needs him.

role reversal AU - Leon as the mercenary, Ada as the rookie cop turned government agent. how do things change? what stays the same? what drew Leon into this life and how has it changed him, and what draws him to Ada now? what drew Ada into working for the government? I will not lie, I would totally love to see what happens to their dynamic if you flip their roles like this—Leon in canon seems to just kind of shrug and accept that Ada's just gonna do what Ada wants to do by the time RE6 happens, but I can't see Ada in his role doing the same thing even by the time of RE6.

speaking of Resident Evil 6: AU where Leon takes Helena's advice and goes after Ada after all. what happens after that?

Chris/Leon

Winter Soldier AU - Leon successfully gets Ashley off the island, but he doesn't manage to get away himself before the cult captures him. years later, perhaps by the time of RE6 or so, there's a mysterious assassin with a reputation for brutal and efficient killings in play working for either the Family or Neo-Umbrella. Chris meets him in Edonia seemingly working for Wal-Mart Ada, and is struck by how familiar he seems. six months later, he runs into the guy again in an underground facility in Lanshiang, and in a brutal fight, unmasks him and is shocked to see: it's Leon, who doesn't remember him or Claire or anything else. what happens next?

AU where Leon gets into the RPD sooner, before the Spencer Mansion Incident. he and Chris hit it off right away - so well, in fact, that they start developing feelings for each other. when he hears that something's gone terribly wrong for the STARS team, Leon decides to go get them out. what happens next?

Chris and Leon get into a relationship and it's going strong when Leon gets a hard hit to the head, and when he next wakes up he thinks it's 1998 and he's late for his first day of work on the job. how does he react to finding out that it's been over twenty years since 1998 and his life is completely different from how he thought it might be? how does Chris react to this younger, more idealistic Leon? what happens to their relationship? how does Leon develop as a person once those twenty years have been wiped away, and how different is that from pre-amnesia? does he ever get those memories back?

where's Leon been since he was last seen in Vendetta? easy: he was undercover on a mission. the mission goes very awry, and Chris has to go save him from it. maybe even saves him from mutating bc he got infected with something? pls.

Jill/Carlos

so what did they do after Raccoon City? I can't see Carlos just up and leaving Jill after everything they've been through, despite what Capcom says, so: what did they get up to in 1998, and what are they like years afterward? do they still keep in touch? do they meet up every so often? are they dating, and Carlos just hasn't joined the BSAA for reasons of his own?

CRITICAL ROLE
Beau & Caleb

I know that everyone and their mom wants Aeor Shadowgast adventures which is fine and all but I want Aeor Beau & Caleb shenanigans. I think it would be exceedingly funny if these two eternally curious high-INT button-pushers came across wild magic shit in Aeor and let their curiosity get the best of them like it did with the Tomb Takers’ tome. also I want to read their sibling relationship so much ahhhhhh.

Caleb learning how to do dope monk shit from Beau! maybe she teaches him to meditate during a particularly high-stress time. maybe she shows him how to punch people in the face without breaking his thumb in the process. maybe she shows him how to do some basic parkour tricks. please I want to see Beau becoming kind of a mentor-type person to Caleb in the thing she’s great at and being like ohhhh shit am I your teacher now. fuck.

IT (MOVIES)
Richie/Eddie

role reversal AU! maybe Eddie's the comedian and Richie's the insurance guy. or Eddie's single and Richie's married. or Eddie's in Chicago and Richie's in New York. or, saddest role reversal of all: Eddie survives but Richie dies instead.

AU where Richie and Eddie get into a relationship in their teenage years and leave town together. by the time they come back to Derry, they're happily married. what happens in between? what happens in Derry when they come back?

same AU as last point, but instead of being happily married they're going through a bitter divorce. what are the issues that split them up? what's their dynamic like when they come back to Derry? how do they reconcile?

pick a random romantic comedy. now use it for Richie and Eddie, but set it before Derry 2.0. what happens when halfway through, Mike calls?

Eddie trying to untangle the Gordian knot of his trauma and his hang-ups about health and wellness and disease. how does he handle cooking for himself for the first time in years if not ever? does he find himself obsessively checking calorie counts and ingredient lists? is he even allergic to anything, and if not what is he going to do with that information?

Richie's a closeted gay comedian who started out in a career that is historically not always the most accepting of queer people. what did he have to do to get career success? what does he feel when the tides shift and more out queer people start getting into comedy? what kind of advice does he find himself giving to aspiring comedians backstage? when he comes out, how does the public react?

in-universe media fic about Richie coming out of the closet and speculations about his dating life. bonus points if he keeps getting linked romantically to literally every other Loser except, you know, the one he's dating.

Eddie tries to find himself a new job after moving to live with Richie! unfortunately the job he finds? is in a haunted office building/sleepaway camp/house/whatever. what does he do when the horror starts? does he surprise his new coworkers with how experienced he actually seems to be at horror movie bullshit?

body swap where Eddie is dead and Richie tries to bring him back. unfortunately he screws up somewhere in the ritual and Eddie finds himself in Richie's body while Richie ends up floating around as a ghost outside of it. what happens next?

LEGEND OF VOX MACHINA
Percy &/ Vex

more than any other pairing, Percy and Vex give me the vibes of a classic fairytale couple. so give me a Percy/Vex fusion of Tam Lin, an old favorite of mine. maybe Cassandra escaped and Percy didn't, and years later Vex goes hunting in the forests near Whitestone and meets a very handsome fellow and they end up kissing a lot and stealing moments in the forest, but then the Whitestone Arc happens and hey! it turns out Vex has been uh screwing the Briarwoods' deeply traumatized enforcer! and then Vex has to save him with the power of love and also probably the Gauntlets of Ogre Power bc good lord her STR stat.

Vex & Percy looking after Trinket together in the first days they know each other.

Percy & Cassandra

role reversal: Percy seemingly falls to the Briarwoods’ arrows on that cold day, and Cassandra jumps into the river. what changes in Vox Machina? what changes in Cassandra? how does she learn to live with the guilt of seemingly being the sole survivor and of leaving her brother behind? what about Percy? does he go through essentially the same thing Cassandra went through, or is it much, much worse for him?

Rafael Solano/Jane Villanueva/Michael Cordero Jr.

how would you have written the Michael with amnesia plotline? Winter Soldier-style AU? fake amnesia? real amnesia but somewhere other than Bumfuck Country Town? slow and steady reclamation of identity? anything goes!

role reversal AU: instead of Michael running into Rose that day, it was Jane. Michael has to deal with the seeming loss of his wife and having to help raise Mateo with Rafael, as well as perhaps finishing her novel, if she was working on one when she “died”. unexpectedly, though, he and Rafael fall in love as well, and start dating. then Rose tells Rafael that Jane’s alive...

growing pains of a polyamorous relationship when there’s a kid in the mix, go! would especially love to see it from Mateo’s perspective, the kid’s got some opinions.
